self-esteem through music creation and performance
Description
ChicasRock is a music program exclusively for girls. Qualified counselors in an all-female environment will instruct campers in guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and vocals. Armed with fresh, enhanced skills, campers will form bands and learn to play together and perform as a band.
Classes
Ages 5-7 “ChiquitasRock”
Every Mon and Wed from 4 to 5PM
Ages 8 to 12
Beginner
Mon and Wed from 5-6:30PM
Intermediate
Mon and Wed from 6:30-8PM
Ages 13 and up “Teen Chicas”
Tues and Thurs from 6:30-8PM
Instruction
We offer the choice of an instrument as guitar, bass, keys, drums or vocals. Classes also include band formation and band practice and a lot of very fun self-esteem workshops.
No previous musical experience necessary. We also welcome all music genres.
Instruments provided or feel free to bring your own guitar, bass, or keyboard if you like.
